Lionstorm had smelled it too, and he screwed up his face. "yuck " he whispered. "it smells like the two legs threw out an old cat!" he growled, stepping back from the scent.

"But doesn't it" Foxpaw was about to flee when she bumped into a tree. "Foxdung! That horrible smell is screwing up my eyes!" she yowled quietly.

Ic: Shadowwing's ears pricked. The whispers had awoken him too easily. They must be those stupid Clan cats again, he thought. They always have to cone and bother me while I'm sleeping. Stretching his body along the grass he began to creep toward the voices, the crouched lower and halted to listen.

Lion storm's ear twitched. something strange had happened, but he couldn't tell what was wrong. "get down" he whisper, setting his paw on Foxpaw and forcing her to the ground. "i think something is here. something we can't smell because of that horrible twoleg scent."

"Hey! Be careful!" she shrieked, then lowered her voice majorly. "What is it?" she asked. Then her nose tingled as the new scent set in. "Some cat" she whispered. "it's so close, we could probably reach it from here! Shall we call it out?"

"It" he muttered, half to himself. He was backing away as he spoke, his knowing green eyes glimmering at the thought of another kill. Maybe two.

Foxpaw pricked her ears once more. "It's awake!" She yowled furiously and pounced on the bramble thicket where the noise sounded from.

Shadowwing leaped backwards quickly, fur spiking. Hissing, he tried to jump onto Foxpaw and dig his thorn-sharp claws into her shoulders.

Foxpaw yowled as shadow wings body weight flattened her to the ground and his claws dug into her body. "Get off!" she shrieked.

Shadowwing grunted as Lionstorm knocked him off of Foxpaw. He slipped behind Lionstorm in an instant and tried to lash out with claw and teeth at his back and legs.

Lionstorm let out a low screech as shadowwing scratched at his back and bit his hind leg. wriggling free, he attempt to kick out his hind leg into shadowwings jaw

Shadowwing flinched at the pain that pounded his lower jaw. He squeezed his eyes shut for a moment and crouched. Then he began to perform his special move. The glint of rage in his eyes proved how ferocious it would be. His jaw hanging open, he raced towards Lionstorm. Before he could lash out at him, he rolled over him and attempted to kick with all four legs. Rolling away and bounced back up and ran forward again. This time he slid around Lionstorm to confuse him and attempted to spin around and lash out with his claws, then lunge forward and grab his neck with his claws and sink his claws in.

Lionstorm was confused as Shadowwing races around him,n all his moves hitting. when shadowwings claws began digging into his neck, he choked with blood. I'm going to die he thought. I'm going to die he repeated. sadness welled in his eyes as he watched the stars of silverpelt.
